EVENT
Sunday May 30th saw Glasgow celebrate its year long reign as UK City of Architecture and Design in an extravaganza of fashion, music, street theatre and live art. The streets were closed to traffic and given over to the people to enjoy the spectacular free events from BBC Music Live and Glasgow 1999 on 22 sites throughout the city from 12.30pm until 11.15pm. Commissioned events included Improbable Theatre’s Sticky that went on to tour internationally and Gavin Lockhart’s Windows
